Carnival and Bday Weekend

This weekend was fun and busy! We began Friday evening with a fire pit and BBQ at the house for my birthday - we also had a colorful cake with sparkly candles.

On Saturday was Carnival in town. We walked down the hill in the afternoon just in time to join in the parade which was making its way through Jamestown. Everyone was dressed in bright colors and people were playing music and dancing down the street.

As the day continued we wandered around the different booths which were selling items and food in order to raise money for cancer awareness. We also got stir fry for dinner which was delicious. We spent the rest of the evening listening to the live music and hanging out around town and dancing into the night.
