A Stormy Weekend

(July 8 - 9, 2023)

This weekend the weather was very windy with random abrupt rainfalls. Because of this we mostly stayed inside and had a cozy weekend in.

On Saturday diving was cancelled because of the weather, so instead we watched movies (and an episode of the new Attenborough which Dusty also likes to watch too), did a puzzle, read and played video games.

On Sunday the weather was a bit better, so we decided to create a little garden outside, planting seeds that Scott had bought the other day - chilis, melon, herbs, and eggplant (aubergine). We also went on a little driving explore to Blue Hill which we had not fully explored yet - we ended up driving up and down unmarked roads which all eventually led to people's houses, also we passed the donkey sanctuary again. Initially we had the idea to do another Postbox walk, but then it suddenly became very rainy so we kept to just driving.

We finished our drive with an explore of high knoll fort, which was built incase of island invasion (and is still waiting to be used for that purpose). Now it is an abandoned ruin at the top of a hill with great views of the Northern side of the island. - I also found half a small skull which I don't know what animal it was from..
